GROWSAFE® Introductory Course
This course has been designed for users of agrichemicals and includes the Approved Handler component. It is a requirement of Regional Councils throughout NZ.

Certificates for both GROWSAFE® Introductory and Approved Handler have a 5 year life.

GROWSAFE® Applied Course
This course is designed for managers or owners of properties who are responsible for staff who spray. It is a requirement by some Regional Councils in NZ. Contact TBT to find out if you are eligible.

GROWSAFE® Registered Chemical Applicator
This certificate is for contractors spraying for hire or reward and is a requirement under some Regional Councils. Contact TBT to find out if you require this certificate.

GROWSAFE® Revalidation for Ground Applicators
Certificates have an initial 3 year life which extends to 5 years after the first revalidation and holders of this certificate are required to renew this certificate every 5 years.

A current First Aid certificate is part of the requirement before the certificate is revalidated.

GROWSAFE® Revalidation for Pilot Chemical Rating
Pilots must hold a GROWSAFE® P number for this certificate to be revalidated. The certificate is valid for 3 years. Contact TBT when you need your rating revalidated. There is a 30 day stand down period for those certificates expiring.
